Absolution

Absolution سومین آلبوم میوز است که در سپتامبر 2003 منتشر شد. اولین تک آهنگ گروه Stockholm Syndrome بود که در 14 جولای منتشر شد.آلبوم در استودیو Grouse Lodge در ایرلند و AIR  در لندن ضبط شده. تراک های آلبوم در خلال اجرا های گروه برای آلبوم های Origin Of Symmetry و Hullabaloo  ضبط شده اند.

به مانند آلبوم های قدیمی گروه این آلبوم نیز از بزرگان کلاسیک همچون as Sergei Rachmaninov و Samuel Barber تاثیر پذیرفته است و این در حالی است که تراک های همچون Endlessly بیانگر تم های الکترونیک در البوم است و اهنگ هایی نیز همچون The Small Print و Thoughts Of A Dying Atheist  نیز بر اساس ریف های سنگین گیتار الکتریک بنا شده اند.
